That means relief, action, intonation, nut height is all precise down to the micrometer. Interestingly, the list price was reduced (slightly) from 129.50 to 126 at. The tuners turn great and the electronics are perfect. The neck has absolutely no humps and the frets have tons of life left. The pickgaurd has started to slightly warp around the neck pickup, but thats expected and not noticable unless really looking at it from an angle. This piece has your typical aged olympic white with dings and scratches that are all pictured, but without them this instrument wouldn't feel as old and special. The 100% original olympic white finish that lays right below that juicy nitrocellulose brings you so much closer to the instrument than poly and is just inspiring to hold, after all the first thing you do when you pickup a guitar is hold the neck and body. This piece is made of 57 year old alder which has lost all its moisture over time and rings like a bell, the old wood is where the vintage tone lies, and how the pickups were wound by experts back in the day, theres no question these old musicmaster pickups produce that vintage woody neck pickup tone we all adore. Fender couldnt make a bad guitar at the time and although some are better than others, they are definitley far more supreme than any reissue today. These retailed at half the price of a strat and were a student model, but retained all the same craftsmanship, parts, and construction as your 20,000$ strat.
